We are currently looking for a Perm Part-Time Wholesale Officer to join our Commercial Credit Team reporting to the Senior Commercial Credit Analyst.
In this role, you will liaise with Dealers, Manufacturers, other Financiers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient management of stock and payment of invoices, internal and external transfers, acquisitions and settlements. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior candidate to develop their skills in a global financial services company.
What you'll do
- Monitor dealer credit lines and reports regarding stock levels and liaise with dealers to ensure that stock is accounted for
- Liaise with financiers and auditors to ensure stock report reconciliation and timely settlement of new acquisitions and additional lending.
- Ensure that bailment of vehicles is in line with the operating policy
- Monitor dealer limits and payments, escalating any issues in accordance with the wholesale operating policy
- Respond to all dealer enquiries in a positive, confident and timely manner
- Monitor invoice payments and follow up where necessary
- Follow up on outstanding credit notes or incorrect invoices
- Liaise between the Commercial Credit Team, Relationship Managers, and dealer regarding limits and related matters
- Assist commercial credit team in preparing reports and following up dealers and Regional Manager to ensure required information is collected
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance (desirable)
- Experience in automotive industry (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role or account processing role
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and develop alternative solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven stakeholder management capability
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy particularly while working under pressure.
