Reporting to the PMO Lead, the PMO Analyst is responsible for supporting the project management process, standards, deliverables and operational cadence necessary to ensure consistent project execution in accordance with VWFS policies and procedures.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate the delivery of Small Projects; liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a suitable and timely solution into Production.
- Provide fortnightly reports to internal stakeholders on the progress of Small Projects.
- Manage/Complete any governance deliverables required to be created or updated as part of each Small Project.
- Support the procurement of IT and Projects by promptly processing invoices.
- Support the PMO Lead to ensure quality assurance and governance for each project is adhere to. This includes managing any of the governance tasks including Project Health Checks, Quality Gate Reviews, Tailoring sessions for standard projects
- Support the Ideation Process as required by the PMO Manager and PMO Lead.
- Manage/Facilitate regular Vendor catchups related to Small Projects.
- Monitor and report on portfolio costs and performance; preparing and submitting reports as required by the PMO Lead.
- Support the PMO Lead managing resource allocation, including adjustments based on emerging business or technical opportunities and challenges.
- Assist and advise Project Sponsors, Project Managers, and teams in the best use of project management disciplines and approaches.
- Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information; and advocate for best practices in project management.
Comply with company standards, procedures, policies, and legal requirements.
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a PMO/Project Analyst/Coordinator position.
- Experience in a similar size organisation (100-500 people) within a similar industry (Automotive Finance, Financial Services).
- Exposure to project management lifecycles, methodologies and procedures (both waterfall and agile).
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills; and the ability to produce high quality documentation including process documentation and templates.
- Ability to collaborate across the project teams, relevant stakeholders and business area.
- Solid understanding of IT environments from a user and/or technical perspective.
- Formal project management training or accreditation, ideally PRINCE2 and Scrum.
- Experience with SharePoint administration.
- Exposure to project quality management processes and stage-gate reviews.
- Exposure to formal Change Management practices such as PROSCI.
