Reporting to the State Manager, we are currently seeking a Regional Manager to join our sales team based in QLD. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new and existing business and ensure client relationships are managed and maintained effectively in the regions of QLD.
The Role:
This critical role is instrumental in the delivery of sales outcomes through the development of key relationships and partnerships for VWFS, our Group Brands and recently acquired Brand Partners.
What you’ll do:
- Monitoring and reporting on client performance, identifying market trends and making recommendations
- Acting as the initial point of contact for the review and assessment of credit applications for commercial lending
- Developing effective relationships with clients, understanding their needs and continuously looking at ways to add value and strengthen relationships
- Contributing to the development of operational policies, procedures and systems for client servicing functions
- Network Development; including creating and maintaining effective communication channels to resolve dealer issues
- Driving and supporting our dealers to improve business performance, by supplying accurate and timely information to identify trends and make recommendations
- Reviewing key metrics and industry benchmarks on a monthly basis
- Business Development, including developing proposals to acquire new dealers
- Promoting and implementing incentive programs to meet the needs of dealers
- Facilitating training on systems, processes, new activities and initiatives
- Continually looking for ways to drive incremental volumes at the desired return required by the business
- Working with brand partners to understand their goals and drive mutually beneficial outcomes
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or a related discipline
- 4+ years' experience in the provision of service and support to commercial clients or a similar environment
- Strong operational knowledge of wholesale/retail leasing, insurance or a related field
- Previous credit assessment and/or risk management experience, and knowledge of appropriate credit processes is preferable but not mandatory
- Excellent Communication and Relationship building skills
- The ability to plan and prioritise effectively across a large and geographically disperse region
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Flexibility to travel interstate monthly for dealer meetings and head office meetings will be required on occasion
