We are currently looking for Compliance and Regulatory Coordinator to support the Operational Risk and Compliance team. This role will be responsible for coordinating VWFS’s regulatory change and compliance framework.
What you'll do
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance change activities for VSFSA, including distributing regulatory alerts, actioning responses and assisting with regulatory change impact reviews.
• Assist the Operational Risk and Compliance team with operational tasks, including reporting, maintaining the compliance calendar and reporting using the Protecht GRC system.
• Assist with the coordination of regulatory / industry consultation responses and feedback.
• Accurately maintain registers, including regulatory correspondence register and regulatory change roadmap.
• Assist with the hindsight review process, including reviewing, documenting and reporting on results from hindsight reviews.
What you'll bring
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory obligations including in relation to ASIC, AUSTRAC and OAIC
• Tertiary education in business, finance and/ or law is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal and external customers
• Attention to detail including the ability to effectively review information, noting errors, discrepancies and/or trends
• Knowledge of complaints handling and/ or collections activities
• Experience in asset finance is preferred
• Communication skills including some experience in an advisory capacity preferred
