Job Description

The CRM Campaign Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the business in delivering customer-focused campaigns that drive customer loyalty and retention, support Brand and dealer group partners, and contribute to new finance contracts and retention goals. This newly created role will focus on delivering campaign offers through CRM activity, working closely with the Brand and Sales teams to bring these offers to life. The role will also support new product launches and help drive customer enquiry through targeted communications. A key focus will be on optimising campaigns, including A/B testing, to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement. Campaign execution will be managed through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with strong emphasis on reporting, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • CRM Campaign Strategy & Execution
    • Collaborate with the Brand and Sales team to interpret campaign briefs and incorporate promotional offers.
    • Manage end-to-end campaign execution across email, sms and other digital channels
    • Brief creative and digital agencies, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and timelines
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including compliance, legal, digital and product teams.
    • Support new product launches and drive customer enquiry through targeted CRM communications.
    • Liaise with the CRM & Loyalty Marketing Specialist to ensure alignment and best practice across CRM initiatives.
    • Ensure all campaign activity meets business requirements and supports strategic objectives.

 

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
    • Oversee campaign builds in SFMC, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
    • Ensure accurate audience segmentation, personalisation, and dynamic content.
    • Conduct QA and UAT to ensure campaigns are error-free and meet business requirements.

 

  • Reporting and Optimisation
    • Create post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
    • Present campaign performance using PowerPoint or similar tools, tailored to different stakeholder groups.
    • Use Salesforce and other reporting tools to monitor KPIs and engagement metrics.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation, including A/B testing.

 

  • Stakeholder & Agency Management
    • Act as the key liaison between internal teams and external agencies.
    • Ensure timely delivery of creative assets and campaign builds.
    • Maintain campaign calendars and ensure alignment with broader marketing initiatives

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • 3+ years in CRM or campaign marketing, ideally within automotive, finance, or related industries
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio)
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation
  • Experience briefing and managing creative and digital agencies
  • Proficiency in campaign reporting and stakeholder presentation
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment - multitask and pivot whilst maintaining high attention to detail
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Experience with AMPscript, SQL, or HTML for email customisation (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools (desirable)
  • Understanding of Australian data privacy regulations, including the Spam Act 2003 and Privacy Act 1988 and ADMA guidelines (desirable)
  • Knowledge of financial and insurance regulatory frameworks, including NCCP and ASIC compliance requirements (desirable)
