We are currently looking for a Cloud & Security Systems Engineer. This role will act as a subject matter expert in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, automation, and digital collaboration. You will ensure secure, scalable, and resilient cloud services while enabling productivity through Microsoft 365 and Copilot integration.
What you’ll do:
- Design and deploy Azure-based solutions for infrastructure, networking, and application hosting
- Manage Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, identity, and governance
- Monitor cloud performance, cost optimization, and scalability
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and controls
- Manage identity and access using Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Integrate and manage Zscaler cloud security services for secure internet and SaaS access
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud to protect against threats across devices, email, and cloud workloads
- Implement Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, and information protection, including DLP, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Support deployment and adoption of Copilot for Microsoft 365, enabling AI-powered productivity across departments
- Collaborate with IT leadership to define cloud, automation, security, and digital workplace roadmaps
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
- Support and maintain on-prem systems including Windows servers, Active Directory, Citrix, and VMware
- Administer firewalls, proxies, and network infrastructure in line with VWFS standards
The successful applicant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 7 years in IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and security operations
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
